PHILADELPHIA -- All the Eagles' talk for the next month or so will center on a punt on 4th-and-15 and a soon-to- be 37-year-old quarterback.
While Andy Reid's decision to give up and punt to the Saints in the final minutes of Saturday night's 27-24 loss at New Orleans is still mind-boggling and whether or not the team brings back free agent quarterback Jeff Garcia is interesting, neither should be the major concern of the team.
Forget Garcia for a moment. Yes, it would be nice to have him back and the team should pay him accordingly with the fact he will be 37 in mind. First on that list of get ting paid, however, is wide receiver Donte' Stallworth.
If the team lets Stallworth walk away as an unrestricted free agent, it opens another hole it will have to fill either through the draft or free agency, and most of the picks and money the Eagles have should be spent on defense.
